Digital Video Slideshows

If you’re videotaping your training seminars or other events, then you need DCM’s Digital Video Slideshow service; the best way to preserve your live presentations and present them in a form that is easy to view, review, distribute and manage.

A Digital Video Slideshow combines the video of the speaker with the slides from the slideshow, as well as video, pictures, graphics, documents or any other visual aids the speaker may have used. You will receive a digital document that plays on any computer equipped with a web browser or the latest Adobe Reader (a free download commonly used to view PDF documents). You can receive your Digital Video Slideshow on CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, as a PDF document, as a web page package, or all three.

We will videotape your presenter as they present their slideshow. Afterwards, you provide us with the PowerPoint slideshow file. Also provide us with any other media used by the presenter. These could include video, audio tracks, pictures, graphics, news clippings or whole PDF files. These will be incorporated into your final product, either as part of the slideshow, or as attachments that can be accessed with a click. Because the viewer can stop the video and review the attached material in its entirety, the experience can be more beneficial than the live event!

The slides themselves are preserved intact, including their graphic content. If there are animated parts, such as bullet points appearing or objects “flying in,” these can be timed appropriately. In other words, the slide can be presented exactly as in the live event.

DCM can add a quiz of your design to test your viewer’s learning. The quiz can also send the results to your AICC, SCORM or Adobe Connect Pro learning management system.
